Marcy Lawless, MS, RD

Marcy Lawless holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Maine, a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition Therapy from Bastyr University and is a licensed dietitian in Maine.

A passion for food as medicine and the simple enjoyment of eating delicious food brought Marcy into the field of nutrition. Marcy implements nutrition practices based on current research for optimal health, prevention and recovery. She specializes in food allergies, digestive disorders, anti-inflammatory nutrition, celiac disease and oncology.

Marcy’s work experience ranges with all ages and from local community to clinical settings. She has worked over five years in nutrition education programs for children and families in the public schools and with the WIC (Woman, Infant, Children) Program. She has also resided as a clinical dietitian for the University of New Mexico Hospital treating heart disease, diabetes, oncology, and high risk maternity patients.

Marcy was also a nutritionist for Whole Foods Markets in Albuquerque, New Mexico serving both the store team members and customers. Marcy is currently a clinical dietitian for Maine General Hospital in Augusta, Franklin Memorial Hospital, and Genesis Health Care serving Sandy River Nursing Home and Cedar Ridge in Skowhegan.
